All our rooms are unique and are a mix of old world charm and comfort.
Cosimo Suite Named after Cosimo de Piro, the first de Piro to settle in Malta in 1530. The de Piro family left Rhodes with the Knights of St John in 1522 and settled in Malta when the islands were granted to Grand Master Fra Philippe Villers de L’Isle Adam. He was given trusted responsibility within the Order of St John and made Commander of the Arsenal of the Sovereign Prince.Santiago Room The bed once formed part of the decoration of a church in Lisbon and has been cleverly turned into a sumptuous bed. You’ll see plenty of shells in this room including a large wooden one on the wall from Santiago di Compostela that gives this room its name.Clock Room This room used to have a valuable 18th Century Maltese Clock in it which has been replaced with a replica. The original is in the museum and is one of 3 Maltese clocks that you can see in the Palace. Maltese Clocks are traditionally painted different colours depending in their owners. Black for the Knights, red for the clergy, blue for the nobility and green for the merchants.Family Room We have a number of options for those requiring a family room. Please enquire directly with the numbers and ages and we'll do our very best to come up with a solution for you.Pineapple Room The pair of side lamps come from Villa Bologna, an aristocratic residence in Malta and there is also a landscape painted by the late Marquis Joe Scicluna who owned Palazzo Parisio another beautiful Maltese Palace. Make sure you visit them both when you are in Malta!Elephant Room Have a look at the bed and you’ll see that it is being proudly watched over by a pair of Elephants made in India. The walls are painted an Indian red too just because we like the colour!
